Dear DFL Friend and Supporter:
Thanks to the hard work and dedication of so many Minnesotans over the years, the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party is approaching its 75th year of fighting for progressive politics - and we are showing no signs of letting up. While we face many trying times in the current political climate, we look to the powerful example of those who have helped to forge the DFL’s legacy; from our Party’s founders to the dedicated women and men in leadership today, we are standing in the midst of an incredible tradition. And like those who came before us, we are determined to stand strong.
As you may remember, several years ago we expanded the DFL Headquarters and created the DFL Victory Plaza to pay homage to that legacy. This monument commemorates the work of both iconic DFLers and the everyday heroes who have worked so hard to make the Party as strong and vibrant as it is today. It is a tribute to the many individuals who have given their time and energy to lead our Party and support our candidates across the state. We know we simply could not be where we are today without them.
Now more than ever, we wish to recognize those who are standing up for the rights of their neighbors, fighting for the well-being of all Minnesotans, and exemplifying what it means to be a DFLer. That is why I would once again like to share with you the opportunity to honor a DFL hero with an engraved brick in the Victory Plaza. Sponsoring a brick is a great way to pay tribute to a family member, friend, or loved one who has fought to carry out our progressive mission.
Thank you for all you are doing to ensure the legacy of our Party for the many generations to come.
All my best,
Chair, Minnesota DFL Party
